Hip Side of Salzburg

WELCOME TO THE BLAUE GANS

Highly Interesting Point

You can find Mozart & friends quite easily without us. But where are the undiscovered trendy spots that are a bit more out of sight? The tips we have put together for you here will spur you on to explore the real Salzburg, away from all the clichés. The other side of the Mozartkugel, so to speak. Our staff are real lifestyle guides and will gladly point you to all the latest city hotspots. The town’s most interesting quarters are easily accessible either by our rented bikes or on foot. You won’t need a car while you’re with us; it will be parked safely in the Mönchsberg car park opposite.

TRENDY CYCLING

Salzburg can be easily explored by bike. Our city bikes are at your disposal for an exciting tour of the city or an idyllic trip to the countryside.

The bike hire service is included in your room price; we ask only for a donation to put towards global reforestation projects. In winter, we treat our bikes to a short time out.

OUR FAVOURITE RUNNING ROUTES

Although we are in the very heart of the old town, the most beautiful running routes start right on our doorstep. You don’t need a car to seek the great outdoors. On the contrary: In just a few minutes, the Salzach River takes you to gorgeous places.

We are particularly fond of two routes. Please come to reception, where we’ll be delighted to tell you where the “Blaue Gans running routes” lead to.

Twelve works by internationally acclaimed contemporary artists have turned the old town into a veritable “Garden of Art”. We are happy to organize a guided tour with a true-blue art lover.
