From wine cellar to jazz cellar to wine archive

The vaulted cellar dates from the 14th century and is one of the oldest parts of the building. Once a wine cellar, later a jazz cellar, and now a wine cellar again, it is home to around 1,500 bottles.

Alongside them, we store pickles, fermented foods and preserves from our kitchen, as well as our own “Il Nostro” olive oil.

 

La Tavolata

A place for something spectacular to happen.

“La Tavolata” means a long table, good food and good company.






Eating & drinking together

“La Tavolata” is all about sharing, family style. Dishes arrive on plates and platters in the middle of the table. Everyone helps themselves — and perhaps their neighbour, too. A community forms around the table.

We see La Tavolata as a delicious social network. Start the evening with a cool aperitivo and cicchetti. Then enjoy good food and good conversation, accompanied by a few bottles from the wine cabinet just opposite. Relaxed, simple and informal.

Good to know

Can I book the wine archive exclusively?

Yes, at lunchtime or in the evening — for private celebrations and corporate events alike.

How many people can it accommodate?

Up to 54 seated guests, and more for standing receptions. We arrange a long table or group tables to suit your occasion.

Is equipment available for presentations or music?

A mixing desk with powered speakers (€199), microphones with stands (€150), and a projector and screen (€199) are available for hire. The wine archive also has a compact Poet One music system for quiet background music. Let us know what you need and we will prepare everything.

Can we have an aperitif before dinner?

Of course, at the wine archive bar or in our outdoor dining area.

How does payment work?

One bill for the whole group. Payment by cash, card or bank transfer, if agreed in advance.

Can I bring my own wine?

If you would like a particular wine that is not on our list, please let us know. We will ask our supplier whether they can source it. If you prefer to bring your own wine, a corkage fee applies.

How late can we celebrate?

Until 1 a.m.

Is the wine archive accessible without steps?

Several steps lead to the wine archive. The toilet is on the ground floor and there is no lift. Please contact us in advance about any particular accessibility requirements.
